Premis Wins Robina Hospital Refurbishment Project

The Adult Acute Mental Health Unit at Robina Hospital is getting a facelift. Premis has been hired to bring about the changes at the facility on the Gold Coast, a project that will result in a 20-bed hospital, including anti-ligature fixtures.
The old building’s exterior will get work in the form of new windows, an RW-rated soundproofing system, a new sprinkler system, upgraded electrical systems and joinery.
This Robina Hospital refurbishment is the last in a number of projects Premis has taken on in the Queensland area, including the upgrading of Ipswich Hospital’s High Dependency Mental Health Unit.
The refurbishment project began in the middle of August and should be finished in mid-November.
