An 84 bed private hospital Nowra Private provides acute surgical and medical services, rehabilitation, day surgery and day only oncology services. All rooms have an ensuite, bedside telephone and remote controlled television.The Nowra team prides it’s self on the personalised attention that commences at pre-admission, right thorough to discharge from hospital, and return to the Community. All departments are staffed by experienced and skilled health care professionals, who are familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields.The Hospital is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS), a national accreditation body which ensures that hospitals provide the highest standards of service.As a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Partnering Hospital, you have immediate access to our care, in most circumstances without the need for prior approval.We provide hospital care on behalf of private health funds, and for those patients who chose to self fund their private care.You can request direct admission to Nowra Private Hospital (referral by your doctor), or request transfer from the Emergency Department of the public hospital.
